Description
These are seed rice from Masanobu Fukuoka's Happy Hill, harvested in 2025. The harvested rice was threshed and stored.
Grown in Kyushu.
This is our 6th year of natural farming (no fertilizers or pesticides). The rice paddies are not tilled and are flooded during winter. Sun-dried using a hara-kake drying method.
We have been saving seeds every year.
Happy Hill is said to be suitable for upland rice cultivation. (We do not cultivate upland rice ourselves.)
The seed rice is unsorted, so we have included a little extra.
