Kōten Kōbō Helicoid Macro Lens for Leica M, SL, SIGMA, Panasonic

This is the SHOTEN L.M-L.SL macro mount adapter with a helicoid.

This is a mount adapter that converts Leica M-mount lenses to SL-mount. It is compatible with L-mount alliance bayonet L-mount cameras such as the Leica SL series and Panasonic S series.

The Leica M-mount is a de facto universal mount for old lenses, allowing almost any old lens to be converted and attached due to its exquisite flange back, which is shorter than an SLR but longer than a mirrorless camera. By converting to the M-mount first, it can be attached to any mirrorless camera.

Furthermore, this mount adapter has a helicoid that functions like a focus ring. It allows for a 5mm extension, enabling closer focusing than the lens's minimum focusing distance. Many Leica M-mount rangefinder lenses have long minimum focusing distances, such as 1 meter, so it is convenient to take photos of table-top scenes with a mirrorless camera without difficulty.

This item was purchased new and used for a short period when I owned a Lumix S9. It was not used extensively and has been stored since I sold the camera. Although it has not been used many times, there are some minor scuffs from use. It is in good working order and should still be usable.

The current model is the second generation, with a larger focus lever, and concerns about interference with the camera. It has also become quite expensive, priced around 30,000 yen, making it a high-end option. SL mount cameras are still a niche, and mount adapters for them are rare in the used market, so please consider this opportunity.
