Oboe Reed (Cantabile) - Grotan

The Cantabile finished oboe reed is completely handmade.
To accommodate your preferences as much as possible, such as weight and personal taste,
we create each reed from raw material after receiving your order.
Therefore, it may take up to 3 weeks for shipping (though it may be faster).

Each reed has a slightly different blowing feel and tone, so we recommend purchasing a set of 2-3 reeds for a more enjoyable experience. However, trying one first and then ordering more if you like it is also a great option!

This reed has a resistance that produces a dark, German oboe sound.
It is suitable for intermediate players who do not bite down when playing.
(We make them slightly lighter, so if you are not an absolute beginner, beginners and advanced players who prefer a lighter reed should also find them suitable.)

* As this is a trial product, we have used recycled tubes to keep the price down. (This is why it is listed as near unused, but the reed itself is, of course, unused.)

☆ Due to rising material costs, we have increased the price by 200 yen starting from October 15, 2022.

Also, to ensure the reed lasts longer and stays clean (as it is made to prevent air leaks), we do not wrap it with tape.
