It's difficult to capture the beauty of the gold brocade in photos, but it has a powerful presence when displayed.
It looks bright and gorgeous in person.

It was stored at my parents' temple.
This is a hanging scroll that was used when a high-ranking monk visited for worship, so I believe it brings good fortune.

It is from the early Heisei era.
It was mounted and then stored without being displayed.

I am listing it because I want to pass it on to someone who will use it, in its beautiful condition.

A significant amount was spent on the mounting, and it was tailored at a shop in Kyoto using gold brocade fabric, resulting in an elegant finish.

The gold thread pattern also incorporates the Buddhist swastika (manji) symbol.

The height also adds to its beauty when displayed, and the gold brocade has a striking appearance with bright, warm colors.

The Nōkyōjiku (pilgrimage scroll) from the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, with all the temple stamps (Goshuin) collected in the center (Goshuin scroll), is said to be a protective charm and a very auspicious hanging scroll.

The center features a magnificent painting of Kōbō Daishi (Kūkai).

Upon research, similar items at specialty stores can range from approximately 200,000 to 500,000 yen.
