This is a nozoki choko (a small sake cup with a design at the bottom) featuring a eggplant pattern, which is said to bring good luck.
There is a saying that a parent's words and the eggplant flower are never wasted, not even one in ten thousand.
It is said that eggplant flowers always bear fruit.
I believe this is a very rare nozoki choko.
There is a kiln mark on the inside bottom and about three small chips on the outer bottom base. It does not leak water.
