Large Green Plums, 5kg, Hayama Grown, Naturally Cultivated, Shipping Included, Pesticide-Free

These are plums harvested yesterday (May 25th).
If purchased by around 4:30 PM, they can be shipped the same day.

These plums were grown in Hayama Town, Kanagawa Prefecture, in a plum orchard using completely natural cultivation methods without pesticides or fertilizers.
They are of the Shirokaga variety, planted by a relative about 50 years ago. According to them, pesticides or herbicides have never been used on the trees since planting.
The only care provided is weeding a few times a year and pruning in winter.
Because they are pruned annually, the plums have grown to be large.
How about using them for green plum preparations like plum wine, plum juice, or soy-pickled plums? They have a great flavor and are highly praised by many people every year.

★Important Notes★
?As these are naturally grown, they may not all have the perfect appearance you see in supermarket produce. You may find blemishes (freckles) or slight distortions.
This year, there are more freckles than last year. Any with excessive freckles have been removed during inspection.
Plums in photos 2 and 3 are representative of what will be sent.
?Plums with blemishes do not seem to be suitable for ripening further. Please use them as soon as possible, and we recommend storing them in the vegetable crisper of your refrigerator.
?We pack them using crumpled newspaper as cushioning material to minimize damage, but some damage may occur during transit. Also, as time passes, they will ripen further and turn more yellow.
?Inspections are done quickly and roughly by the seller based on whether they can be used for making plum wine. There's a possibility of missed defects. In return, we will include a little extra.
?Although we are careful, other items such as insects or leaves may be mixed in with the plums.
?After harvesting at my relative's home in Hayama, they will be shipped from my home in Yokohama City.
