The name Yukiwakamaru was chosen to evoke the image of the rice plant's strong appearance and grains, as well as the whiteness and luster of the grains reminiscent of Yamagata, a snowy region.
While it has less sweetness and stickiness than Tsuya-hime, it has a satisfying texture that complements other ingredients with its refreshing mouthfeel.
It is also very popular among farmers because it is easier to grow than Huenuki.
This product uses Grade 1 inspected rice.
The rice is milled on the day of shipment, ensuring maximum freshness. It comes in two 5kg bags.
