Early models from the 1930s-1940s have a grounds collector base diameter of 45mm. From 1940 onwards, the bottom edge of the grounds collector case widens to 48mm, matching the diameter of the hopper rim.
The No. 461 came in three sizes (total length) until 1936. From 1936 to 1950, there were two types, and from 1951 onwards, there was only one type at 185mm.
There were also three types of materials: brass (No. 461), brass nickel-plated (No. 461.V), and brass chrome-plated (No. 461.CH).
The foldable articulated crank handle was standard on the No. 461 before 1940. From 1940 onwards, the No. 461, No. 461.V, and No. 461.CH came with a regular single handle.
From 1951 onwards, the articulated crank handle became available as an optional purchase for all models.
The case has very minor scuffs but is otherwise clean and shiny.
Both the upper and lower burrs are sparkling clean.
