This is a traditional craft lacquerware round tray (marubon) from Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture.
It is a large size, with a diameter of 32cm and a height of 4.5cm. It is about one size larger in both diameter and thickness than a standard size, giving it a substantial feel.
*This item was a store display and was acquired in the late Showa to early Heisei period.
*As it was a store display, the product itself has no noticeable scratches or dirt. It has never been used by me as it was for sale.
*However, due to its age, the storage box has some scuffs and scratches, but we will send it as is. (If you do not need the box, please dispose of it yourself.)
