★What are Chia Seeds?★
These are the seeds of the chia plant, an annual herb of the mint family native to Mexico and Guatemala.

Although they are smaller than sesame seeds, they contain an astonishing amount of nutrients, so much so that there's a saying that one can sustain life with just water and chia seeds. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and alpha-linolenic acid, which are said to be good for the body, and are used not only as seeds but also as a raw material for chia seed oil.

They are tasteless and odorless, but their most notable characteristic is that when added to liquids like water, they absorb moisture and swell to more than 10 times their size, becoming jelly-like. Their popping and chewy texture makes them a popular ingredient as an accent in drinks, smoothies, and desserts, with the slogan A spoonful of nutrition!

Chia seeds can be eaten as they are (raw). They have almost no taste or smell, making them easy to eat.
We recommend mixing them with moist foods such as drinks or yogurt. You can also enjoy the texture by adding them to salad dressings.

Chia seeds are highly nutritious and contain calories, so consuming too much can lead to an excessive intake of nutrients. For your health, please consume them according to the recommended daily intake.

~Usage Examples~
Sprinkle on salads for a popping texture.
Sprinkle on rice or cold tofu like sesame seeds.
As a topping for muffins, cakes, etc.
As a topping for yogurt, parfaits, jams & fruits.
Grind and add to dressed dishes or dressings.

~How to Rehydrate Chia Seeds~
Rehydrating chia seeds with water is simple. Just soak them in 10 times the amount of water. For white chia seeds, which absorb more moisture, add more water as needed.
