This is natural Hoso-ba Okina-goke (Thin-leaf Old Man Moss) collected from the foothills of the Nasu mountain range in Tochigi Prefecture.
This is a rare and vibrant green moss.
Mountain moss is fine in partial shade, but prefers bright shade with minimal temperature fluctuations.
Indoors, place it in a bright shade location, such as a windowsill filtered through lace curtains, away from direct sunlight.
We also recommend a location away from direct air conditioner drafts.
Water occasionally in the morning or evening, being careful not to overwater. The leaves will turn white if it dries out.
No fertilizer is necessary.
As this moss is collected from mountainous areas, please understand that there may be the presence of insects or other small creatures.
