Description
This is 200 grams of Mucuna beans (Hassho beans) from Chiba Prefecture, grown without pesticides.
Harvested at the end of November 2025, dried, and then the seeds were extracted.
Mucuna beans are rich in L-DOPA, a precursor to dopamine.
There are also precautions, such as not overconsuming them, so we recommend researching cooking methods and other information online before consuming.
In addition to being edible, they can also be used as seeds.
Our family recently planted some and they sprouted (see photos).
We soaked ours in water for about two days before planting. While there's no guarantee of germination for all seeds, most of ours sprouted this time.
