Harvested at my parents' home in Aomori Prefecture.

Grown in a greenhouse without pesticides or herbicides.
They grow quite well even when left unattended in the greenhouse. → However, adding fertilizer makes them tastier.

We harvest delicious asparagus every year.
It is sweet and juicy asparagus.

Last fall, I tried sowing seeds harvested last autumn in winter to see if they would germinate, and they did. They also survived the winter left outside on the balcony, so it seems to be a hardy variety.

Once planted, you can harvest asparagus for about 10 years.
The first year after planting, they are spindly and not edible.

*I asked my parents about the variety, but they didn't know.

The 2nd and 3rd photos show the asparagus fruits (seeds). Wouldn't they be good for children's food education?
