This is the curly parsley that has been commonly distributed in Japan for a long time.
It is rich in vitamins, calcium, iron, minerals, etc.,
and its nutritional value is outstanding among other green and yellow vegetables.

Always harvest from the outer leaves.
If you harvest too many at once, the plant will weaken,
so always leave at least 10 leaves.
(Even with a large plant, harvest no more than 1/3 of the total at once.)
It is cold-tolerant and continues to grow year-round.
It self-seeds and multiplies every year.

When harvesting a large amount during peak season,

with other vegetables, apples, or lemon juice.

A long time ago, there were many butterfly larvae in my garden,
and they ate all the Apiaceae herbs.
So I bought curly parsley and chervil from the supermarket
and gave them to the larvae.
All the larvae that ate the curly parsley... ☆
I washed them many times, though (crying).

I learned later that...
pesticides tend to remain in the curled parts of the leaves,
especially in commercially available parsley, particularly curly parsley.
Let's grow it without pesticides.
