These are mugwort roots grown in a field on a small island in Nagasaki. Why not try growing them in a pot in your garden?

Mugwort roots have strong regenerative power, so we recommend starting with 10 or more. Cutting longer roots and burying them will further promote propagation.

We will pack them with moisture in a plastic bag and ship them via Yu-Packet Post, or Yu-Packet Mini after the Mercari market closes.

The roots have become nice and thick in May. We will leave the leaves attached if they do not interfere with packing. Please use them if they have not discolored upon arrival.

?? How to Propagate (Planting the Roots)
Since the rhizomes grow long, they can easily take root simply by burying the part with roots in the soil.
Timing: Spring to early summer, or autumn are the best times for planting and transplanting.
They prefer sunny and well-ventilated locations, but they are hardy and can grow in shade.
Caution: Because their regenerative power is extremely strong, they will spread rapidly if planted in your garden. They can overwhelm other plants, so be careful about where you plant them. Container gardening is also recommended.
