Showa Retro Bunraku Tabi Wooden Display Case

This is a wooden showcase for Bunraku tabi (Japanese socks).

This showcase was used in the clothing and kimono store run by our grandparents.

It is said to be from around the 1940s (Showa 20s).

Our mother said it was in the store since she was a child.

The Bunraku tabi showcase is small, and this is a larger size showcase.

The smaller showcase was listed by us previously.

Product dimensions:
Height approx. 940mm, Width approx. 1222mm, Depth approx. 460mm. This is a considerably large showcase.

Regarding the condition of the item, there are some dirt and dust due to age.

Also, the glass on the far left side of the front is missing.

We do not know if it was broken and removed.

Reinforcement of the glass in that area will likely be necessary.

There are no other issues with the glass surfaces.

Regarding shipping, as there are many glass surfaces, the size is large, and the weight is considerable, we kindly request that you pick it up in person.

We are located in the Tamba region of Hyogo Prefecture.

This is a very rare showcase from a clothing manufacturer.
