Juneberries are typically ready to eat around June. The fruit is small, about 1-1.5 cm in diameter, and round, with a deep red color close to black.

The berries can be eaten fresh. They have a natural sweetness and juiciness with little acidity, making them delicious. If you harvest a lot, you can cook them down into jam or other preserves.
Since the seeds can be a little noticeable, we enjoy them as an ingredient in smoothies at our home.

Many shoots sprout around the parent plant, so I dug them up and planted them in pots.

They will be carefully wrapped with moisture retention and sent via Nekoposu on the day of shipping. While not the exact plant pictured, the roots are healthy. The lengths will vary.
