Cypress Wood Slice Log Chair Stool Approx. 35cm Height

This is a cypress wood stump, harvested in December.

It has been dried and polished to a smooth finish. It is mostly level, and has been adjusted and polished to prevent wobbling when placed on a floor.
It can be used with either the top or bottom facing up.

As it is fresh cypress, it has a wonderful aroma.

Finished with walnut oil.

Natural wood and solid wood have the charm of their original scent, texture, and changes over time, but cracks will inevitably appear due to drying. The cracks will eventually stabilize to some extent. If some time has passed since the item was listed, the cracks may progress and the color may change. If you are concerned, please leave a comment and we can provide additional photos of the current condition.

This product is not completely dried. While it has a very good aroma, there is a possibility of mold growth due to internal moisture, even though the surface is dry.
To prevent mold, please avoid direct sunlight, place it in a well-ventilated area, and occasionally switch the top and bottom.
You can also prevent mold by placing shims under the bottom surface to prevent it from sitting flat on the floor, or by placing it on its side when not in use.
Once completely dried, it will not require as much care.

Although it has been adjusted and polished to prevent wobbling, wobbling may occur due to cracks or warping associated with drying. Wood oils may also seep out, so it is recommended to place a cloth or similar material under the log.
