Last year, many swallowtail butterflies flew away.
And just 10 days ago this year, a swallowtail butterfly laid eggs on the leaves of a small potted plant, and they have since flown away.
We transferred them to a swallowtail butterfly habitat and are raising them with the young leaves from our garden's mandarin orange tree.
