Made with naturally dried cedar wood. For recent heat countermeasures, the bottom board can be swapped between a standard type and a wire mesh type with 6mm openings. By removing the bottom board, internal inspections can be easily performed using a smartphone, mirror, or other tools. The top is made with plywood with slits, designed to accommodate wax moths, Acarapis woodi mites, and winter feed boxes. To prevent comb collapse, 8 metal rods are included.
Usage instructions are provided in a letter along with tips for attracting bees.
