Antique French Wedding Sheet, Large Size, Monogram Embroidery, 2m x 1.4m

This is a rare antique linen sheet (bed cloth), handmade with care between the 1900s and 1920s, traditionally used as part of a dowry (mannequin) in France.
It features a thick, warm, hand-spun (homespun) linen fabric, unlike modern industrial products.

[Attractive Features]
Beautiful Hand Embroidery (Monogram): The center features an elegant Art Nouveau-style decorative F and H beautifully embroidered with voluminous white satin stitch.
Luxurious Details: The edges are adorned with delicate drawn thread work (dronework) and wavy scallop embroidery, making any part of it a picturesque sight.
Generous Large Size for Versatile Use: It can be widely used as a centerpiece for your interior, such as a tablecloth (for 4-6 people), sofa cover, bedspread, or curtains.

[Condition]
The monogram embroidery and drawn thread work areas are in very beautiful condition with no skipped stitches.
As this is an antique item, there are some frays on the edge scallop embroidery (where the inner threads are visible) and some stains (please refer to the images).
Considering its age, it is in excellent condition.
It can be used without issue by hand-stitching the edges or applying a fray stopper. We hope to pass this on to someone who understands and appreciates the charm of antiques and enjoys caring for them.
