The black base coat with exquisite gold lacquer inlay of pine trees is stunning.
The box has some dirt and stains, and there is a part on the back that has been erased with correction fluid.
As this is an expensive Wajima-nuri lacquerware, I do not wish to sell it cheaply, but I have lowered the price this much due to the condition of the box.
Besides being used as a tray, it can also be used as a decorative item or for tea ceremony.
