A luxurious piece featuring Ventile cotton on the shoulders and elbows.
Typically, when weaving wool fibers like these, a scouring process is performed to remove impurities and oils.
While this is an essential step for yarn spinning and dyeing, Harris Tweed intentionally leaves these oils in.
This process maintains a coarse, firm rigidity, creating excellent insulation designed to retain body heat and block out cold winds outdoors.
The Authentic Line is committed to British production, using materials primarily from the UK and Italy, known for their high quality and durability.
While the number of factories capable of producing clothing in the UK is decreasing, there are still factories recognized for their high quality, some of which have been producing military uniforms since World War II. Nigel Cabourn continues to collaborate with these rare factories.
The silhouette features a slight shaping at the waist. As you wear it, the tweed will gradually conform to your body, creating a unique garment that is truly your own.
