The camera has been serviced by a skilled craftsman specializing in Olympus cameras:
Shutter has been disassembled and repaired!
Meter has been adjusted as much as possible!
Lens has been disassembled and cleaned as much as possible!
Winding and shutter speeds are all functioning without issue!
Mechanical operation is excellent!
■Regarding the Exposure Meter■
Power on and operation are confirmed OK!
This camera is designed to use 1.35v batteries. When using the more readily available 1.5V batteries, there will be approximately a 1-stop difference. For example, when using ISO 100 film, setting the camera's ISO dial to ISO 50 (one stop lower) will align with your external light meter for generally accurate exposure.
(The craftsman mentioned that perfect precision adjustment is not possible with 60-year-old CDS cells.)
■Lens■
The lens has been disassembled and cleaned as much as possible!
Due to remaining traces of fungus and coating peeling, the price has been slightly reduced. However, it is clear for practical use and in good condition for shooting!
The helicoid is smooth and fluid throughout its range, and focus is good from the closest distance to infinity!
The aperture blades operate crisply and without issue!
