The U18 USB interface adopts the XMOS XU216 solution, supporting DSD512 and PCM768K. The chip is equipped with 16 cores, ensuring more resources and smooth operation. An external 10M frequency thermostat clock can be connected. The K2 clock module synthesizes the 10M frequency into a master clock required for audio with very low loss. The clock power supply for the U18 uses the ultra-low noise LDO LT3045, which exhibits excellent performance with a wideband noise of 0.8uVrms from 10Hz to 100KHz.
GUSTARD U18 reshapes the isolated IIS signal using LPLD digital shaping technology to eliminate additional jitter caused by the isolation chip.
