This rod holder attaches to your belt for use.
Simply hang the cork grip on the clip to hold your rod. Attaching the elastic cord to the hook further increases holding power.
The holder can be rotated 360 degrees, allowing you to fix the rod at your desired angle.

Recommended for when you have trouble finding a place to put your rod after landing a fish, when you want to change flies while wading, or when you want to carry two rods on a flat surface.

- When changing flies, etc., the rod is stable even if just lightly placed on the hook without fully engaging it, making it easy to work while standing.
- It does not cause noticeable scratches on the cork grip (may vary depending on grip diameter).
- Avoids scratching the reel or submerging it by not placing the rod directly on the ground.

[About the Product]
This is an older model without the button to lock the holder's rotation, not the current model listed on O’Pros' website, which is why it is priced lower. The rotation is not loose to begin with, so unless you plan to attach it to a car using separately sold parts, you will rarely need the lock button, so personally, I don't think the lock is necessary.
