Westone W60 Dark Led Limited / Black Metallic Red

【Unit Overview】
This is a special edition unit rebuilt as the Dark Led limited, based on Westone's renowned W60, featuring a beautiful fusion of jet black and dark red.
While retaining the silky, dense sound characteristic of the W60, we pursued both physical convenience and design aesthetics.

【From the Workshop Manager】
Regarding the W60, as there are few places to audition it recently, here's a description of its sound profile.
Among recent listens, the DUNU DK3001 felt somewhat similar. It has a moist and calm atmosphere, but the W60 has a slight edge in wearing comfort.
This unit is an older version, but the 2019 redesign seems to have improved high-frequency clarity and visibility.
This is a trade-off with sound density, so it might be a matter of personal preference.
Westone has also transitioned to the MACH series, and the closest to the W60 in the new series was the MACH70. The MACH60 has a lively sound similar to the Pro X30. If you expect the W60 and buy the MACH60, you might be surprised.

【Custom Specifications and Maintenance Details】
Custom Red Painting: Dark red paint that shimmers with glitter depending on the light. 3 layers of metallic black, 3 layers of metallic red, finished with clear coat.

New Parts Replacement: Knowles acoustic filters have been replaced with new ones. This restores the sound intended by the original manufacturer.

Universal Tip Compatibility: The stem has been processed with silicone tubing, allowing the use of universal ear tips other than Westone's dedicated ones.
