This fabric was developed through trial and error with a fabric manufacturer over a long period to reproduce the fabric of work pants used in German coal mines from the 1920s to 1930s, owned by designer Nishino. Achieving the slightly worn texture of nearly 100-year-old fabric was extremely difficult, and cellulose (regenerated fiber) was the solution. This unique texture is achieved by weaving cellulose at an ultra-high density and then applying a special washing process. While it has a different atmosphere from NEAT's usual style, these trousers are a fresh creation with a light feel, an unparalleled fabric texture, and a color that pairs easily with various outfits.
