【Beautiful Condition】Luxury Fukuro Obi Kyoto Kyosui 420cm

This is a high-quality fukuro obi, custom-made by Kyosui, a long-established kimono fabric store in Kyoto.
This item was passed down from the seller's mother-in-law, who reportedly wore it only twice at weddings.
The condition is excellent, making it hard to believe it's about 50 years old. It possesses a richness and elegance not found in modern obi. Featuring classic patterns of Kamon (floral crests) and Hishimon (diamond patterns) in a subdued pink-beige with luxurious gold threads, it can be used for a long time, unaffected by trends.
While there is no material label, its supple texture and elegant sheen, characteristic of silk, suggest it is a very high-quality pure silk (shoken).
It is perfect for formal occasions such as wearing with a houmongi (visiting kimono), iromuji (solid-colored kimono), or furisode (long-sleeved kimono).
