Brother Innovis D300 Quilting Frame for Brother Embroidery Machine

This is a free-motion embroidery hoop designed to fit the EF74 hoop that comes with the innovisD300.

I made extra and am offering them to anyone who is interested.

The hoops included with the EMS80 series Innovis SE3800D, DC3500, and D400J are the same, so they can also be used.

A customer contacted me to say they were able to use it with the Innovis VS hoop as well.

Free-motion embroidery is a method of embroidering without hooping the fabric. It is useful when you don't want hoop marks on your fabric or when embroidering on small pieces of fabric.

The maximum embroidery size is 36mm (height) x 36mm (width).
I use it for adding small accents or names to clothing, and for making small patches.


【How to Use】
① Apply double-sided tape to the surface around the square hole.
The double-sided tape is surprisingly strong and can be reused several times.

② Attach the fabric you want to embroider on top of the hoop and embroider.
For small pieces of fabric, a size of 6cm x 6cm or larger is ideal.

③ The free-motion hoop has a top and bottom. Please set it on the Brother embroidery hoop with the triangle mark facing up.
Do not overtighten, as this can warp the surface. Lightly secure it so it doesn't come off.

④ Once set in the machine, check the embroidery area to ensure the needle does not hit the free-motion hoop before starting to embroider.

We have designed it so that you can start embroidering directly if your embroidery data is within 36mm x 36mm. However, depending on whether the Brother embroidery hoop is attached straight or how tightly it is secured, the edges may hit the needle.
The surface is thin, so even if the needle hits it, it will pass through.
