This is a bolt of fabric woven from kudzu vine.
It is the actual piece that received an honorable mention at the Mingei Museum Exhibition held at the Japan Folk Crafts Museum in 2005. It was also purchased by the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art.
This one features a brown checkered pattern.
It was produced based on a design selected from Mr. Kichinosuke Tonomura's Kudzu Cloth Album.
The size is 46 cm x 275 cm.
