This is a traditional Noh mask, hand-carved from wood.
Noh masks are said to have the effect of warding off evil and bringing good fortune.
Height: Approx. 20 cm

Does not include a frame, mask bag, or paulownia box.
The craftsmanship is of a very high standard.
There is a small mark, about 4mm long and as fine as a hair, below the lip.
