Antique French Back-to-Back Angels and Forest Embroidery Trim Silk-Blend Fabric

Beautiful French angel motif embroidered antique lace cloth,
handmade handkerchief.

A lyrical and elegant piece featuring a smooth, soft, and airy,
drapey, high-quality fabric,
edged with handmade Alençon or Valenciennes lace embroidered with angels and forest trees on tulle.

The angels are depicted sitting back-to-back,
perhaps on cushions (clouds? ribbons?),
appearing to play with a ball towards the forest.
There seem to be over 10 angel embroideries.
The angels are outlined on one side and flat on the other (top and bottom of the second image).
Beautiful from either side.

The drawn thread embroidery lace in the corners,
shaped like □ and 』, is also refreshing.
With raised dot embroidery within the □.

The small picot edging of the lace is delicate and lovely.

The texture feels like a blend of linen, silk, and cotton.
A delicate and supple fabric with very fine threads.

The color is a gentle cream, deep ivory, or ecru,
with a sepia tone.
A wonderful hue that evokes an antique feel.

No noticeable stains or damage, it is clean.
There is one spot near a corner where the lace appears to be slightly faded to white,
but it is not very noticeable (top right of the 5th image).
For those who do not mind.

Lightly home-cleaned in March 2022 and is clean.
Ready to use immediately.

It would be very stylish to use as a handkerchief for a wedding dress,
as a pocket square, with a kimono, or for everyday fashion.

It can also be used as a cloth to display dolls such as bisque dolls,
or objects like angels and Madonnas.

It would also be lovely to arrange a painting, card, photograph, or embroidery work
and use it like a frame, appreciating it within a glass frame.

This is a reluctant sale from my personal collection, as I only have one.
