The Hoei Tsūhō is a rare currency that ceased issuance in about one year.
Furthermore, the surface of the Hoei Tsūhō is engraved with 寳・永・通・寳 on all four sides, and these characters are called senmon. The reverse side is engraved with 永久世用 (seiyō) on all four sides.
