This is a practice sword for Iaido. It is not a real sword.

This sword was purchased as a replacement blade for an Iaido sword used in Iaido practice and performances, but it was never used.

As it was intended as a replacement blade, it has been stored in a shirasaya (plain wooden scabbard).
The shirasaya has some commensurate scratches from long-term storage, but there are no cracks, so it should be usable for suburi (swing practice) as is.

There is no rattling between the nakago (tang) and the tsuka (hilt).

The blade itself has no scratches, warping, or chips.
