Kaiyodo Official To-ji Temple Figure, National Treasure Taishakuten Riding Elephant Statue, Polystone, KAIYODO
This is a pre-painted, finished figure of the Taishakuten Riding an Elephant Statue made by Kaiyodo, officially from Toji Temple (Kyoogokoku-ji), the headquarters of the Shingon sect.
This is a highly detailed Buddhist statue figure, which was sold in limited quantities at special exhibitions such as the 2019 National Treasure Toji Temple - Kukai and Buddhist Statues Mandala. Toji Temple supervised the sculpting, and Kaiyodo was in charge of production.
